BASF has launched 'Sit down. Move.', the first global car seat design competition. The contest asks for designers to submit their ideas for a car concept car seat using BASF materials and will be judged by three renowned industrial and automotive designers: Dave Lyon, former-Executive Director of Interior Design America for GM, industrial designer Konstantin Grcic and former Pininfarina designer Ken Okuyama along with BASF representatives.

Torquey, lively and frugal, the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is a little marvel, a fact recognised for the second year running by the judging panel for the Engine of the Year Awards, which has given the 1.0 litre EcoBoost the highest ever marks in the award’s fifteen year history. Lexus LFA Roadster - arriving in 2014
We reported last year that Lexus had given the green light to chop the top of the limited edition LFA and turn it in to a new halo car for Lexus – the Lexus LFA Roadster. Since then – and the report then was just a whisper from a couple of sources – we’ve heard nothing more concrete. But now Automotive News seems to have caught up with our story and are quoting the Lexus LFA Roadster as in the planning at Lexus for 2014.
